The objectives of the Foundation for Neurofeedback and Applied Neuroscience are:
- To encourage and support basic research into the scientific basis for, and clinical applications of, neurofeedback.
- To encourage and support research into the clinical use, and other practical applications, of this technology.
- To make the benefits of this technology available to groups to whom such benefits are presently either unavailable or not readily available.
- To inform the general public and professionals in such fields as health care, education and public safety of the potential benefits of neurofeedback.
- To promote and support the education of mental health professionals, and those in allied professions, concerning the techniques of neurofeedback and their long-term implications.
- To encourage synergy and cooperation between individuals and groups within the field.
